ROADSTER 2028 is free to play. Everything you can buy is cosmetic or creative: paint finishes, thruster colours, a custom plate, the Founder's pack, keeping a Track Lab track, and a week on a skyline billboard. Battery, nitrogen, unlocks and times are never for sale.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the game in US dollars and include applicable VAT. At checkout you may also see and pay the amount in your local currency. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Delivery
Digital items are delivered immediately after payment, to the player profile on the device you bought on. There are no accounts: your restore code (Garage → Restore purchases) moves your items to another device. Keep it safe; anyone with the code can use your items.
Items
Items are a licence to use them in ROADSTER 2028. They have no cash value and cannot be resold or exchanged for money.
A billboard week starts when a slot is free (usually immediately) and runs for 7 days.
A kept track stays available, with its share link and leaderboard, as long as the game is offered.
If we ever close the game, we will announce it in the game at least 30 days ahead and stop selling items.
Withdrawal & refunds
If you live in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content that is delivered immediately, this right ends once delivery has begun with your consent. You give that consent, and confirm that you know you lose the right of withdrawal, when you pay at checkout.
Regardless of where you live: if something went wrong (you were charged twice, an item never arrived, or a child bought something without permission), contact us within 14 days and we will refund you. A refunded item is removed from your profile, a refunded billboard is taken down, and a refunded kept track becomes a draft again.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Player content
Track names, driver names, plates and billboard messages are filtered automatically and must be friendly: no hate, harassment, sexual content, personal data of others, links or advertising for third parties. We may remove any content and, for billboards in clear breach, end the week without refund. Track Lab turns your idea into a track automatically; do not enter personal information in the prompt.
Privacy
The controller is airtime AG (address above). We collect as little as possible:
Game progress and settings are stored on your device (browser storage).
A random player ID (your restore code) identifies your purchases, tracks and leaderboard times. It is not linked to your name unless you enter one.
Names you choose for leaderboards, tracks and billboards are shown publicly.
Track Lab prompts are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to build the track and are stored with the track.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment status and the item bought.
Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Optional ads only play when you choose to watch one for a reward. The ad provider (for example Google or the game portal you play on) may process device data under its own policy.
Data is processed in Switzerland, the EU and the USA under Swiss data-protection law and, where it applies, the GDPR. To access or delete the data linked to your player ID, contact us with your restore code.
